Rachael is an engaging young woman with an independent spirit. Limited in mobility due to cerebral palsy and a fused spine, she needs a great deal of assistance with daily living skills. Rachael has muscle contractions in her legs, arms, hands and feet.
Rachael’s successor dog BYRON is constantly by her side and assists her by retrieving things, opening doors, turning on lights and helping her in public. Rachael is very outgoing and BYRON is a great help for her. She also loves to ride horses and gets especially excited when she can be off lead!
Although Rachael unfortunately had to say goodbye to her first Service Dog DAWSON in 2022, his legacy will live on in her heart.
