Atalie was diagnosed with a bone condition called Osteogenesis Imperfecta, which makes her bones very fragile, Ehlers Danlos, which makes her muscles very weak & severe Scoliosis.
Atalie and BAYLOR have been a Team since 2015. Atalie is grateful to paws4people for not only providing her with an Assistance Dog, but a life long best friend. No matter the situation, BAYLOR is always there for her. Giving her a kiss or a nudge with his nose when he’s trying to get her to focus on him. BAYLOR has been with Atalie through the ending of her childhood – multiple surgeries – her middle schools years – random things that all teenagers deal with – and now even in high school.
Atalie says, “When you’re a kid, these things/time periods can be hard to deal with. Especially when you have of health issues on top of it all – but having a friend like BAYLOR has really changed my life for the better”
We are proud of Atalie and BAYLOR and how far they have come together on their journey.
