Ace is a bright young woman who is diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD. After a series of traumatic events in early adolescence, Ace was also diagnosed with PTSD, severe Anxiety and Major Depressive Disorder. She struggles with tasks others often take for granted, and has difficulty navigating emotions in a safe and productive manner. While she has a wonderful support system, her family recognizes how important it is for Ace to gain independence as she gets older, and they believe that having a Service Dog will give Ace the confidence she is lacking to go about day to day life!
Ace began working with STAR in 2025! STAR will interrupt negative behaviors and provide deep pressure therapy to help lower cortisol levels as Ace processes difficult situations. STAR will also anchor to rising anxiety levels and pay attention in crowded spaces, allowing Ace to focus on the task at hand, knowing STAR has her back!
