Araya is diagnosed with Sensory Processing Disorder, and also exhibits anxiety and trauma behaviors. Araya is a sweet girl, but her parents worry that she is always on edge, leading to meltdowns. They believe that having an Assistance Dog would help with de-escalating those tough moments, as Araya builds a bond with the dog.
HARLEY will help by giving Araya a focal point when her emotions get to be too much and will redirect her negative behaviors. He will help in teaching her responsibility, and will be a motivator as Araya transitions throughout daily activities. This sweet team will do great things!
