paws4people®, Inc., as a nonprofit organization, places a high priority on protecting your privacy and security. This Privacy
Policy was created in order to demonstrate paws4people’s commitment to the privacy and security of our website users.

What Information Is Collected


Individuals may submit and we may collect personal information, including personally identifiable information, when website
users voluntarily provide such information. This submission and collection may occur through interactions with our website
that include, but are not limited to, signing up to receive paws4people e-communications, making online charitable gifts,
shopping for paws4people-logo apparel and accessories, submitting an application, registering for an event, or signing up
to volunteer with us. The information we collect may include, but is not limited to, the following information that you
voluntarily provide to us: name, address, telephone number(s), email address, date of birth, license number(s), credit card
information, including billing name, address, and credit card number.
In addition to your voluntary submission, paws4people may collect non-personally identifiable information through
technology, such as cookies, flash cookies, web beacons, Google Analytics, and internet protocol (IP) addresses.

How Your Information May Be Used


We may use your personal information to perform and/or process the services you have requested, provide you with more
personalized service, send email alerts to you, answer your requests, and for other business purposes.
We may use non-personally identifiable information to track visits to our website and see which of our features or pages are
the most popular. It also lets us provide aggregate data about our traffic (not identifying you personally, but showing how
many visitors used which features or pages, for example) to internal and external parties.

Parental Consent, Access, and Deletion


We endeavor to obtain a parent or legal guardian’s consent before collecting, using, or disclosing personal information from
children. Younger visitors should always check with their parents or guardians before entering information on any website.
Parents or legal guardians may contact us to ask if we have collected their child’s personal account information, to review
that information, if any, and request that paws4people stop collecting this information and have it deleted. Such requests
are subject to paws4people verifying to our satisfaction that the requester is in fact the child’s parent or legal guardian.

to us have the right to request a list of all third parties to which we have disclosed personally identifiable information during

or disclosure. We do not store financial information.

Your On-line Charitable Gifts and “Shop to Support paws4people”


When you make a charitable gift thorough our website (https://paws4people.org/donate/ or “Shop to support paws4people”
through our website (https://paws4people.org/shop-support-paws4people/), we use a secure server. That secure server
software, SSL (Secure Sockets Layer), encrypts all information you input before it is sent to us. Furthermore, all of the
transactional data we collect is protected against unauthorized access with the use of digital certificates. You can confirm
that a site is secure because the Web address will begin with “https:”

We do not store financial information, including credit card information, on our servers. Our payment gateway provider
keeps this information encrypted and secure on your behalf.
Your Charitable Gifts Using a Donation Form or Sign up for a paws4people event using a Form
You also may make a charitable gift to paws4people using a donation form, to include, but not limited to:

and/or to make a charitable gift for an event (i.e., a golf tournament).
Your charitable gift or event reservation is processed by paws4people’s Senior Management or accountant using our
payment gateway provider, which keeps your financial information, including credit card information, encrypted and secure
on your behalf using SSL. Furthermore, all of the transactional data collected is protected against unauthorized access with
the use of digital certificates. The original form is shredded by paws4people’s Senior Management or accountant. We do
not store financial information, including credit card information, on our servers.

Non-Disparagement agreement

All decisions of the paws4people Application Committee are final and are to be respected.  Any Photos,  videos, reviews, comments, and/or content that mention, link to, and/or show any direct or indirect connection to paws4people, its logos, services, events, sponsors, donors, vendors, and any paws4people Assistance (Service) Dogs, Assistance Dogs, Facility Dogs, Emotional Support Dogs, and/or Breeding Program Dogs may not contain, depict, or show any content that: (a) is sexually explicit or suggestive, offensive, lewd, profane, obscene, or contains nudity or racist innuendo; (b) promotes any activities that may appear unsafe or dangerous; (c) promotes any political agenda or message; (d) defames, misrepresents or contains disparaging remarks about paws4people, its subsidiaries, affiliates, sponsors, donors, or vendors; (e) communicates messages or images inconsistent with the positive image, reputation, and/or good will of paws4people, its services, events, sponsors, Assistance (Service) Dogs, Assistance Dogs, Facility Dogs, Emotional Support Dogs, Breeding Program Dogs, and/or brand; (f) violates any law; and/or (g) raises questions as to paws4people’s honesty, impartiality, reputation, or otherwise could cause embarrassment to paws4people shall be removed and/or destroyed immediately and all further prohibited conduct cease and desist immediately.  

If an Applicant would like to report any perceived mishandling then a complaint may be filed per the paws4people Complaint Resolution Policy.  A copy of the most current policy may be requested via email to [email protected]

Modifications


We may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time; please review it periodically. We maintain the option to modify this
Privacy Policy at any time by electronic notice posted on our website. Your continued use of our website after the date that
such notices are posted will be deemed to be your agreement to the changed terms.
