As a graduate of UNCW, who completed the ADTP, Tami is very familiar with the benefits of life with a Service Dog. Tami is diagnosed with PTSD, depression and anxiety due to multiple tragic events throughout her childhood and early adult life, and these events left Tami lacking trust in individuals, unable to let her guard down and going through each day in survival mode. Tami is confident that life will be a little sweeter with a companion by her side.
In July of 2025 Tami bumped with JEFFERSON. He will help Tami overcome her fear of large crowds by paying attention, provide deep pressure when she is anxious, wake her from nightmares and interrupt negative behaviors. With JEFFERSON by her side, Tami is on the path to a vibrant and fulfilling life.
