Kieran is a fun-loving and happy young man whose smile can light up a room! However, due to recurring trauma in his younger years, Kieran’s light has been dimmed. Kieran is diagnosed with PTSD and experiences distressing flashbacks and often has trouble getting adequate sleep. He has difficulty in crowded places, causing him to avoid most social situations. His family is hopeful that a Service Dog will allow Kieran to grow in his independence and lead a happy and successful life!
Kieran and VALOR met in 2026! VALOR will help Kieran by anchoring his anxiety and paying attention in crowded places. This will allow Kieran to focus on the task at hand, helping him reintegrate into the community around him. VALOR will also provide deep pressure therapy to lower cortisol levels and will interrupt negative behaviors.
