Kelly Rogan is the founder and director of Skool•ed Collaborative Learning Center, a microschool in Leesburg, Virginia, serving students in grades 1–8 who have dyslexia, ADHD, and other learning differences.
With more than 20 years of experience as a Reading Specialist and educator, Kelly created Skool•ed to be a place where students who struggle in traditional classrooms feel safe, capable, and understood. The center provides small-group literacy intervention and math fundamentals in a calm, structured environment designed to help students build confidence and independence as learners.
A trained Facility Dog, GIBSON, will provide students with calm companionship, motivation, and judgment-free reading practice—helping them engage more fully in their work and celebrate their progress.
Time spent with GIBSON will be used as a positive incentive, a reading partner, and a source of comfort during challenging moments. For many students, this relationship can be the bridge that helps them feel confident and supported in their learning journey.
