Kaitlin completed the paws4people ADTP during her time at UNCW. Kaitlin is diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder as well as an adjustment disorder. Because of this, Kaitlin experiences panic attacks and dissociative episodes.
GOLDIE will assist Kaitlin by interrupting negative behaviors such as skin picking and leg shaking, anchoring to rising anxiety levels, and providing deep pressure therapy during challenging days.
While the world moves quickly around her, GOLDIE will always be there during big transitions in her life. GOLDIE helps ground Kaitlin, allowing her to slow down and enjoy the little things in life. Kaitlin has plans for a bright future and GOLDIE will provide her with the support she needs to reach her full potential!
