Lauren first learned about paws4people as a student at UNCW, and enrolled in the Assistance Dog Training Program. She progressed as a trainer, built lifelong friendships with other trainers and clients, and grew in her personal development. She wanted to get more involved and applied and was accepted as a Puppy Development Center Intern. Lauren continued her work in the PDC and became an Advanced Puppy Intern and later a Puppy Caregiver. This is when she first met GRAYTON.
Lauren has loved seeing GRAYTON as a mom dog to her first litter of puppies and their futures as Assistance Dogs with paws4people.
