Scott is an Air Force veteran who suffered a back injury while on Active Duty. Many years and multiple back surgeries resulting in arthritis have led Scott to the mobility concerns he lives with today. He experiences tremors that cause him to often drop items, as well as neuropathy. Together, these lead to an increased fall risk when Scott bends to pick up dropped items. He hopes to gain a newfound freedom, allowing him to run errands without relying on his loving wife, and to be able to go for walks alone without fear of falling and being stranded.
LEIA and Scott have been a team since 2024! LEIA will assist Scott by retrieving dropped items, and will brace to help as he transitions from sitting to standing, and navigates uneven terrain. LEIA will also alert others when Scott has fallen, and needs assistance getting back up. Together, these two will lead a happy and fulfilling life!
