Ozzie

We are honored to introduce OZZIE, our newest tribute puppy, named for CDR Peter Oswald. CDR Oswald was the decorated leader and Commanding Officer of Naval Special Warfare Unit Four, the Navy’s SEAL element of U.S. Southern Command in Puerto Rico. He was a graduate of the US Naval Academy where he majored in Ocean Engineering. He was also a 3-year letterman in football and was voted to the NCAA Division 1A All East team. He was a Gulf War veteran, and a platoon commander. Sadly, CDR Oswald died during a training accident in El Salvador. He is greatly missed by his wife, daughters, parents, and brothers. The Navy lost a truly great man. OZZIE will be trained as an Assistance Dog in CDR Oswald’s memory.
