Honor Puppy

BARTLETT paws4people honor puppy
White Paw with Bright Blue Background

Corporal Jonathan Wayne Bartlett, was a mechanized infantry, Humvee driver in the United States Army. Jon (although in a separate unit) was injured on the same combat mission as one of our paws4vets clients, SGT Adam Campbell. Jon lost both his legs, a crushed frontal skull, and had severe shrapnel wounds. After meeting in the hospital, both Jon and Adam learned how to utilize their wheelchairs together. Later, together, they both learned to walk again. Jon took his own life on April 17 2012 at the age of 27 from dealing with severe pain and PTS. We lovingly name this puppy, donated by Bay Breeze Labradors, BARTLETT to honor his memory.
