Blake is medically retiring after serving 14 years in the US Navy. He is a Special Operations Independent Duty Corpsman/Special Amphibious Reconnaissance Corpsman. He is diagnosed with PTS and TBI. He served with Marine Corps Special Operations, Army Special Forces and Naval Special Warfare units. He lost over two dozen friends & colleagues and watched many more go through “post-war disparity”. His military and combat experiences have taken a significant toll on him and his family.
In October 2017 Blake met HEART and his life has embarked on a wonderful journey! HEART will help Blake by anchoring when he is anxious, interrupting his nightmares and watching his back as he is always on high alert. These two are quite the pair and we are excited to have them as part of our family!
