Timothy is a single father who lives with his two children. He served in the United States Army as a Military Police Officer and was medically retired in 2017. He is diagnosed with PTSD as a direct result of combat experiences. Timothy has flashbacks of his trauma, avoids people and places, and is hypervigilant when he does leave the house. Timothy serves his community as a Paramedic, and always puts others before himself. He believes a Service Dog would help him refocus his mind as he processes emotions, allowing him to be a better man and father to his young family.
In September 2022, CLYDE took one look at Timothy, and knew that was his person! CLYDE will help Timothy by anchoring to his rising anxiety, interrupt negative behaviors and pay attention when in loud and crowded public places. These two are a dynamic team, and we are happy to have them as part of the paws4people family.
