The paws4prisons TM Program teaches federal inmates to train various types of Assistance Dogs and then manages and supervises the training of these Assistance Dogs for and in support of the mission of the paws4people TM foundation.

The paws4people TM Assistance Dog Breeding Program is a custom blood-line breeding program specifically developed to produce dogs with the personality, temperament, and disposition suitable for Assistance Dog work.

SlammerDogZTM is the Public Relations, Marketing and Fundraising program designed to promote and fund the paws4prisonsTM Program.
All dogs who participate in the paws4prisonsTM Program shall be designated and referred to as SlammerDogZTM and shall be eligible to wear and/or display the SlammerDogZTM logo.

As of February 1, 2010 paws4peopleTM began a new training program through its paws4vetsTM program. This training program, described below, will create a second training venue – in conjunction with the paws4prisons TM program – for paws4peopleTM Assistance Dogs.
