Family Reunion Conference & Dog Graduation Event

paws4people is growing – fast – so we want to start an annual opportunity to bring everyone together to learn about each other and find ways to keep improving this foundation that all of you have helped us build!
This event will be held in the Cape Point Ballroom at the Courtyard Marriott Carolina Beach. We have reserved a block of rooms – but they will go fast so if you want to stay where the event is being held – get your reservations in!

During the day on Saturday, we will host the family reunion event at the hotel. During this event, we will present the newest graduating Assistance Dog Teams. We will also provide the paws4people family with updates on all of the exciting growth and progress paws4people has seen over the past year! This will include introducing you to our new website and showing you how you and your dog can have your very own feature page! Light refreshments will be provided and you will have the opportunity to meet and mingle with paws4people clients, trainers, volunteers, dogs, and handlers from all of our operation chapters!

Saturday evening, everyone is invited to grab dinner together at a great local restaurant called Jack Mackeral’s. See their facebook page here.
A private dining area has been reserved for anyone who would like to join us for dinner and spend more time mingling with your paws4people family.

4th Annual paws4people Wilmington 5K!

Please join us at the 4th Annual paws4people Wilmington 5K! This ever-growing fundraiser is held on the beautiful campus of University North Carolina – Wilmington – the home of our extraordinary new UNCW/paws4people Assistance Dog Training Program. Many vendors, raffles, and other fun activities take place during the festivities. About Booking Your Reservations for Hotel, Conference and Dinner…
1. A block of rooms at a special group rate have been reserved at the Courtyard Marriott Carolina Beach. Reserve your own hotel (suites and accessible rooms are also available) by calling the Marriott (910) 458-2030. The first 25 reservations can get a special discount ($91 paws4people rate) for Friday and Saturday. If you are coming in earlier the rate will probably be close to that as it is midweek. Alternatively – use Google to search for better rates off the beach.
2. The booking form below will send you an email adding the reservations together. If you book 1 person to the conference and one person to the dinner – the email will say your booking is for 2! We are trying to fix this but just so you know!
