Rachael and DAWSON

I WILL SEE you soon my DAWSON! I miss you but I will see him again real soon.   ANGEL misses you too! Its beyond cool how close my two dogs got!  DAWSON went back to the prison this morning for more training after 10 days at home.  I am grateful for the bonding time we had. We will be a great team.  DAWSON you are a part of me I LOVE YOU MY DAWSON!

On Friday, Allison and I took DAWSON to meet with Terry for our first transfer training at Dulles Town Center.  It was a big day for both DAWSON and I.  We got out of the van and fun began.  DAWSON and I walked the mall as we learned commands and practiced in a public setting.  He took his first elevator ride.  He was very unsure the first few times, but he got the hang of it after a while. That is ok we both were uneasy going through  tight doors; but we it together. We went to the food court and had lunch.  DAWSON waited under the table like a pro.  I was very proud of him for whole time.  He did such a good job for a 16-month old.  He did NOT act a like 16-month old dog!   I was glad to have Terry next to me for guidance as there were things we both need to learn and work on for the future.  One thing I need to learn is how to use a bolder mama voice.  I had a grand day and was glad to represent paws4people.

Next stop for me is the Graduation/Reunion in Wilmington.  See you there! Let the countdown start now! CANNOT WAIT!  Thank you p4p for all you do! XO Rach
